Fitocracy


Fitocracy is a website that lets you log all your exercise details in and scores you based on how much it works your body etc. I haven't had it long but I've already found it pretty helpful in motivation as you obviously want to get higher on the leaderboards so therefore push yourself that little bit harder during your workout whether its by doing more reps, running that little bit further, or increasing the weight you're lifting.

It has hundreds of exercises on its database, all of which include a detailed description so you can be sure you're doing it right. This is good as you can select which muscle you want to work and it shows exercises you may not have thought about doing.

Another key feature of Fitocracy is that you can join groups that include people working on the same thing as you, for example, a runners group or ladies fitness etc. This is good as people in the group will motivate and inspire you during your workouts and comment on what you do so you know whether you're really getting the best out of your workout.
